A Pretty Drive

One of my favorite drives in the city takes me through the "Universitet" area. This is the view of MGU, Moscow State University. It's one of the "Seven Sisters" skyscrapers built by Stalin. This area is green and beautiful druing late spring/summer. Newlyweds and recent graduates always get their pictures taken up here; the university is located at the top of "Sparrow Hills"--from which you have a spectacular view of the whole city. This is the famous Luzhniki stadium where the Olympics were. We saw the World Figure Skating Championships at Luzhniki last year; it was fantastic!
