37 Long-Stemmed Roses

The seniors gave me these beautiful flowers at Graduation!

Quite a few of them came from one boy who had been given so many by the younger students that he had difficulty carrying them; I was quite happy to accept his generosity and "help" him by lessening his load! I'm glad that the weather has been cold since Friday; the flowers didn't die within 24 hours from the usual May heat in our apartment and I can still enjoy most of them.

They are AMAZING - and this is so odd! As the site opened and I saw the roses, I would have sworn I could smell them!

No air conditioning? That would be terrible! There is nothing worse than trying to blow dry your hair and put on make-up when it's humid in the house! Our master bedroom is as wide as the house, so we have windows on both sides, so we get an awsome cross breeze that comes right off the lake. Whenever it storms in the middle of the night we ALWAYS know because it's feels like a giant wind tunnel!

How beautiful. Hope you enjoyed them and that they lasted a long time.

I really love how Europeans give flowers for so many different occasions.
