Absolutely hilarious! Isn't it amazing how Katya doesn't have even a trace of an accent when speaking Russian? She sounds like a native speaker!

I think back to her first year of nursery school and how difficult it was for her with not knowing the language but now she speaks like a true Russian.

That is SO CUTE! I have a huge smile on my face. I want to show it to Nastya, but it may make her homesick. She SO misses her best Russian friend, Julia.

My children all love to recite poetry and I wish they had more of that sort of memorization here. I think if (I hope) I go back to teaching that I'll incorporate more memorization. Learning memorization strategies is so important. And the joy of having things "by heart"!
