I took this picture last week; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is already intimidating when viewed during daylight! How much more so when lit up at night!
(Yeah, I know, I haven't posted since Sunday... Monday and Tuesday are my hardest days at work, so I'll post some lengthy entries tomorrow. LOTS of photos stored up after weekend trips to the Tsaritsyno palace, the Russian Honey Fair, and circus.)

Yea. Kind of menacing isn't it? Although pretty in its own way. Can I just say I love it when you share your pictures like this! I love sharing them with the kids.

The Kremlin at night was beautiful.
that was MY view out of my kitchen window every, single night for nearly 3 years (lucky me!)....miss it sooooo much!!!! it was our castle, but yes, it is spooky....but in a good way ; )

I remember that view too. Since it was just across the street from my hotel, that was my compass for finding my way around!
