"This is the best job, ever!"

Natalia was thrilled to be given an important task this morning. A very important task.

She refilled the glass Victorian candy dishes.

She would like to work a whole lot more.

Isn't this the prettiest home? The kids feel like "Samantha" from the American Girl books... They keep recognizing furniture and dishes from her stories. Cecelia used to own an antique shop and the house is filled with the most interesting objects!

I have loved antiques from the time I was your girls' age. My first purchase was a beautiful painted bowl which I still have...I went on to spend my babysitting money on the oak desk, bookcase and rocker that I still have in my house. I was an odd child. And I am still disappointed, really, that instead of a real Victorian-era house, I live in a 1919 house... Cecilia's home is absolutely lovely....and she is an amazing hostess. I see where Rachael gets her party-giving zeal from.

She looks so cute, like she just rolled out of bed. With her messy hair she could definitely pass for one if Rach's kids. (I mean that in a nice way)

I LOVED her living room the moment I saw the first photo! And I wanted to know more, right away! Her living room looks elegant and yet so restful and inviting . . .

And the food--oh my! You must be having a terrific time of refreshment for your whole body/mind/spirit!
