Unsettling!

Look carefully and you'll see why I did a double-take in traffic yesterday... My first reaction was, "OMG! How is that car moving?" The Headless Horseman, you know? Then I realized it was a British car, with the driver on the right side...

There are a fair amount of cars like that around Moscow, but I'm still not used to it!

I heard on the news about some country that suddenly, out of the blue decided that all cars would be driven on the right, and all cars would have wheels on the right. So, everything small country-wide has to be changed.

I'm sure that sight did give you a startle for a moment!

Haha. You take your camera EVERYWHERE, don't you?!

Being British, I saw absolutely nothing wrong, and was wondering what was wrong with me until I read the caption! Obviously I don't see anything lol

Looks perfectly fine to me too. Just like our car. I keep wondering when our kids will notice that when we switch countries we switch the driver's side.

There is story told by one of our former staff members about how when he first arrived here and he and his family were picked up at the airport and driven home in the school bus -- it was dark and rather hard to see and the road is bumpy and traffic a bit erratic -- and he almost had a nervous breakdown because the driver spent most of his time turned around chatting to them. Only near the end of the trip did he say something to his wife who then informed him that wasn't the driver.
